Hello and welcome to another tip of the week, courtesy of your friends here at TMG The Mortgage Group. I love finding out where old sayings come from and I’ve got a pretty good one for you this week. Have you ever needed to “break the ice” when meeting someone for the first time?
A little something to get the conversation started? The saying comes from when large “ice breaking” ships had to break the ice on a river or lake in early spring. This would allow boats to pass, marking the beginning of the season's activity after the winter freeze. This allowed neighboring communities to start their communications again after a long winter.
For this reason, the saying has been connected with the beginning of communication or the beginning of a new enterprise. Sometimes little gifts were given to set a person at ease. So in the spirit of gift giving, I have a audio book I would like to give to you. It’s called the Science of Getting Rich.It contains 17 easy to listen to chapters , and is a great little book for anyone interested in accumulating wealth.
It has some great tips and it’s my gift to you! Simply send me a quick email or give me a call at the office, and I'll send this right to you. Just my way of saying thanks for watching my videos . I'm John Charbonneau here at TMG The Mortgage Group, reminding you that we are never to busy to let you or any of your friends know what your mortgage options are. Until my next video, have a great day.
